Data Bridges/Repeater
Data Bridges/Repeater are used in the wireless sensor network infrastructure. Together with a gateway/data transmitter they create a multi hop mesh network that is completely autonomous.
In a multi hop mesh network data bridges/repeater can transmit messages to the gateway/data transmitter by forwarding messages to each other.
The data bridges/repeater enable an extension of the network range in case the wireless data loggers cannot communicate directly with the gateway/data transmitter because of range impediments.
